General

How do you play?

You run to the right automatically. You jump over obstacles using the button on the right side of the screen, and you use powerups by pressing the button on the left side of the screen. You pick up powerups by running over the boxes marked "?".

What are the different powerups?

Please see the Tutorial in the app. It is located in the settings menu for some reason.

How does the sword powerup work?

When you pick it up, a red arrow starts pointing at the heads of the different players in the progress bar at the bottom of the screen. When you activate the powerup, you kill the player that the arrow is pointing at. Be careful not to hit yourself!

What are the different game modes?

Practice: Offline playing versus bots. You get no coins/rating, but you can check out the different maps and get a feel for the game.

Quick Play: Get matched with random players from around the world. You get to vote on one of two maps chosen randomly from the map pool.

Friends: Create a game lobby and invite your friends to play. You select the map and when to start the game. You can chat with your friends before and after games.

I can't connect to Fun Run.

Make sure you are connected to the internet. Some WiFi networks (and especially public hotspots etc) block the ports that Fun Run used to communicate. Try using a different network.

Why do I lose rating when I disconnect?

If you didn't lose rating when disconnecting, everyone would just leave whenever they're not about to win in order not to lose rating.

What are challenges?

Challenges are a way for you to earn som extra coins. You don't have to do anything other than play the game normally, and when you have completed a challenge you will be notifided and receive the coin reward. Challenges change every day, and you can see which ones are active by clicking the coins button at the main menu.

Android

Fun Run runs on hundreds of Android devices and you can download it through Google Play. We do not guarantee anything for devices running custom ROMs.

I get the "Your device is not compatible" message. Why?

Android devices need to fulfill the following to be able to run Fun Run

Runs Android OS 2.2 or higher

Screen resolution of at least 320x480

ARMv7 processor architecture

Windows Phone

At the time, there is no Windows Phone version of Fun Run.

Support

Can I change my username?

No. At this time, usernames cannot be changed.

Can I change my password?

Yes. From the login screen, hit "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions sent to your email.

Note that you need to have an email address registered in order to change your password

If I reinstall the game, will I lose my progress?

No, your progress is tied to your account. Just log in again and everything should work just fine.

I didn't put a password/email when I created the account and I deleted the app/lost my phone etc. Now I can't login. Help!
